We usually stay at 4-star properties. The Lodge also had the finest breakfast we had on our trip. The rooms are super quiet and we were able to watch three deer crossing the property! The walls are knotty pine and everything you need is there. My daughter, the techie, found the wifi quite robust. This place was just about perfect for us. We did our laundry and the laundry area was also pristine. It is slightly out of the town of Red Lodge, but close to restaurants and shopping. Stay here and you have a wonderful view of the stars at night. When we return to Red Lodge, we will definitely stay here again! More

And the Alpine Lodge made it even more welcoming.... read more We booked a cabin (the original tiny-house) our first night. Spotless, cozy, great bedding, no issues whatsoever. A pair of juvenile bears got into the motel's recycling bin overnight, causing a ruckus, but we slept so soundly, we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was excellent and we decided to stay another night, so they moved us into the motel rooms, which were even nicer. This was the perfect stopping place after a few days at Yellowstone. Best choice I made. Trish saved 4 cabins and a hotel room for us. We were on a motorcycle ride got in late wasn’t able to enjoy all of the recreation games. We needed to go have dinner and drinks and Larry said he would drive us then pick us up when we were done Larry was our personal chauffeur when we got back he even got a bon fire going for us. What a wonderful and delightful man !!!! The cabins were amazingly nice, clean and I have never stayed where the sheets smelled so good !!!! Great nights sleep and Larry even cooked a fresh breakfast to order delicious!!!! When we come back thru Red Lodge ALPINE LODGE is the only place we will stay !!!!
