A pair of juvenile bears got into the motel's recycling bin overnight, causing a ruckus, but we slept so soundly, we didn't hear a thing. Everything is immaculately clean & disinfected, too—we loved the spruce-scented soap, & the hot water is instant.

The rooms are immaculate. The attention to detail is evident in all areas. The bedding and linens are of the highest quality, the bed is comfortable and the supplied toiletries are great. The condition of the hotel and grounds are well cared for and there is ample parking by your assigned room.

Breakfast is cooked to order in the morning, and is excellent. The restaurant area is in a covered outside area and a fire pit provides for warmth and atmosphere. This is the place to stay when visiting the Red Lodge area and we will definitely stay here again.

He offered to keep the kitchen open late and call in extra help upon our arrival in order to provide us all with dinner and made to order breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend this Lodge. It was most definitely my favorite among the all the places we stayed in.

Larry, the proprietor got out of bed and took us in, he even came out and helped me park our truck and trailer. The next morning he cooked the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time.   What a lovely family staycation we had at Alpine Lodge. The location is perfect, right outside of all the hustle and bustle which led to a restful night. The yard... read more space was perfect for our 3 small children to run around in after being cooped up in the car for a few hours. It was nice to not have to worry if they would step in dog poop as this is not pet friendly which was great for us. Check in with Trish was great, she greeted me with a warm smile, answered what seemed like 15 questions and directed me to a few places to eat as I always worry about kid friendly places. Tricia and Larry do a fantastic job at keeping the place clean, I witnessed both of them picking up small pieces of garbage. We had a nice visit with both of them, and applauded them for having such a gem in a neat town. The breakfast was amazing, served today order and hot on your plate. Way better then the continental breakfast we are used to at the chain hotels we usually stay at. The employees we encountered were always smiling, saying hello and seemed to enjoy being there. Says alot about the owners! We look forward to another staycation!
