Larry and his team cooked a fantastic breakfast to order the following morning and we found the lodge to be excellent value for money. It is about 3/4 mile walk into Red Lodge centre but it's not difficult to walk, drive or park. Larry was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. We had a great Mexican meal at Bogarts. We absolutely love the outdoor breakfast area where you can relax, enjoy the fresh air and visit with other guests, while enjoying a tasty breakfast, made to order, which comes at no additional cost. The rooms are always clean, the linens are nice and the locally made soap that is provided is a nice touch!. We recommend this place to all our friends.

A pair of juvenile bears got into the motel's recycling bin overnight, causing a ruckus, but we slept so soundly, we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was excellent and we decided to stay another night, so they moved us into the motel rooms, which were even nicer. This was the perfect stopping place after a few days at Yellowstone. We even saw deer in the yard and also behind the building. Close to restaurants and shops too! We highly recommend the Alpine Lodge and hope to stay here again soon!
